President Trump Holding Meetings over 1 Trillion Infrastructure Package
Work is underway behind the scenes, reports The Hill.
The Hill is reporting that while the debate over ObamaCare rages, work on the promised $1 trillion infrastructure bill is underway. President Trump has held meetings where he is suggesting a 90-day deadline for projects to get off the ground.
Congress has held a hearing to explore potential funding options, and “hundreds” of transportation proposals have been submitted.
“It’s still moving. Just because we’re not out here talking about it doesn’t mean there isn’t work being done,” said Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.),. “It’s not been pushed to the back burner.”
